Yellow-lined Epeus Jumper | Epeus flavobilineatus

The beautiful lantana flower always attracts the attention of nectar seekers. Active insect pollinators such as wasps and bees come one after another to sip the delicious lantana nectar. On the other hand, jumping spiders always use this opportunity well to ambush their prey.

I captured a female yellow-lined epeus jumper (Epeus flavobilineatus), one of the jumping spiders in the genus Epeus.

The transparent green with a white stripe on the face makes this little girl easy to camouflage on the green plants.

I noticed those eyes frequently change color; sometimes black, green, and solar. Almost all jumping spider eyes have that characteristic. I think it's how their eyes respond to light or the color of different objects they see. It's a fantastic thing!
