Hello insect lovers. In my country the rainy season is beginning and with it everything starts to turn green and flourish, all of nature is looking forward to the water because the earth is dry, the mountains look brown and the vegetation in general looks dull.
Los animales también la esperan con emoción, algunos para refrescarse y otros porque cuando empiezan las lluvias el alimento abunda por todas partes. Unas de las especies que más se benefician con la temporada de lluvia son las abejas porque las flores surgen en cada esquina, montaña y lugar imaginable.
The animals also look forward to it, some to cool off and others because when the rains start, food abounds everywhere. One of the species that benefit the most from the rainy season are bees because flowers appear in every corner, mountain and place imaginable.
Si bien las abejas trabajan todo el año recolectando el néctar de las flores, con la llegada de las lluvias, todo reverdece y su ardua labor de obreras se hace más fácil ya que no tienen que viajar tan lejos para conseguir ese preciado ingrediente con el que fabricarán la deliciosa miel.
Although the bees work all year round collecting nectar from the flowers, with the arrival of the rains, everything turns green and their hard work as workers becomes easier since they don't have to travel so far to get that precious ingredient with which they they will make the delicious honey.
Esta hermosa obrera se acercó a degustar del néctar de mi toronjil (Melissa officinalis) y por supuesto, no iba a perder la oportunidad de tomarle unas fotos mientras ella seguía trabajando muy concentradamente para regresar a la colmena con su aporte del día.
This beautiful worker came to taste the nectar of my lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) and of course, I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to take some photos of her while she continued working very concentrated to return to the hive with her contribution of the day.
Estas hermosas obreras trabajan duro todos los días volando de flor en flor para fabricar la deliciosa miel que tanto nos gusta. Son tan importantes para el ecosistema y la vida de todos en este planeta que si desaparecieran, se acabarían gran parte de los alimentos que consumimos y en solo cuatro años nosotros también nos extinguiríamos, así que a protegerlas. ¿Y a ustedes con qué frecuencia los visitan las abejas? These beautiful workers work hard every day, flying from flower to flower to make the delicious honey that we love so much. They are so important for the ecosystem and the life of everyone on this planet that if they disappeared, a large part of the food we consume would end and in just four years we would also become extinct, so protect them.
