All spiders are actually beneficial for plants because they eat pests, when there are lots of spiders on the plant, the pests are easier to control. Spiders do not undergo metamorphosis. After the eggs hatch, come out a small spider, and molt several times. Small spiders are the same shape as adult spiders.
