Hello All Insect Lovers And My Hivean Friends!
A few days ago I came across this insect when I was cleaning the garden in the morning. A few of us cleaned the weeds down in our garden. At that time this moth was sitting on a leaf of a tree early in the morning and it came to my notice. The green moth looked amazing on this dark colored leaf.
This green colored insect is known as bush cricket. Basically, they jump away as soon as they approach it. But that day it was sitting on the leaves and when I approached it it was moving around on the leaves. On that occasion I took some photographs of it. It was very slow back then.
The main body of this bush cricket was green and the legs were of a different color. Even the hind legs are quite long and jointed. Also two more pairs of long ones were visible and which were jointed. A pair of punjakshi antennae were visible in the front. To be honest, it all looked amazing. I liked it when I saw it early in the morning. However, such insects can be found in grass. Maybe it jumped up and sat on the leaves when we were cutting the grass below.
