A parade of beetles and bugs in my garden / Eine Parade von Käfern und Wanzen in meinem Garten

English

Hello dear Hive-bloggers, it's been a while that I haven't posted any insect pictures in this group. My garden has been lively again since the temperature started to warm up a while ago, I just haven't had the opportunity to sort out the pictures just yet.

This afternoon my daughter seemed to be so tired from playing at the kindergarten so that she fell asleep right away after I picked her up, so I can finally have the time to sort the pictures out and update my blog again :).

Today I will present you a parade of beetles and bugs playing around in my garden. My daughter is obviously a daddy's girl, she has the same hobby like him. She would always love to flip over any dead wood or stones to check whether there is any small animal hiding there and then let them crawl on her hand/fingers.

I am not hostile towards little creatures, neverthless all my hairs on my skin can't help but standing straight directly if any of them crawling freely on me 😁. Especially since these stag-beetle can actually pinch real hard.

This beetle is quite big, but it is not as big as the eurepean stag beetle so I am actually not really sure which species it is. But it should belong to the family "Lucanidae". @jaki01 would definitely tell us more about it but he is busy with the Euro Cup so that I didn't ask for his help 😀.

I am actually not really sure which species it is. But it should belong to the family "Lucanidae".

It's Dorcus parallelipipedus.

So, my guess didn't miss that far.

Awesome bug shots! @jaki01 must be very proud of you and your little princess :)

Thank you 😊. She makes us proud, for sure :).

Nice when one sees the Stag Beetles, will be nice to learn more now you know they are around. Spending time outdoors teaching the little one all about nature, she looks as cute as can be enthralled with the beetle.

Shield bugs are very attractive, enjoy bugging around the garden @kobold-djawa

Thankyou @joanstewart . Yes, children should learn to love the nature so that they can cherish what they still have. The future of the earth is in their hand :). This will teach them to have compassion too.
Nice to meet you Joan. Have a nice day.

Nothing nicer than growing up with your hands in the soil, learning about everything that moves.

Have a wonderful day, and yes lovely to meet you too @kobold-djawa

These beetles and bugs are fascinating. Great capture!

Your garden is wonderful with gorgeous flowers. (especially the white ones that I love most!)

It's great to know that the kindergarten can open now and your little princess enjoyed playing there...

Oh! She is very brave to let the stag-beetle crawl on her hand like this... All my hairs on my skin stand straight directly if any of them crawling freely on me, too! 😁 She is a real gentle little angel. I admire her on this. She is a daddy's girl indeed.... 😍😍

Thanks so much for sharing. Wishing you and your warm family a pleasant day! 🙂

The Beetlelooks awesome. It's really interesting to your little daughter to find insects in rocks or dead wood like this. Seeing your daughter finger insects means she is like her father.

Thank you 😊. Yes, children are more open, curious and have no prejudice, therefore they have no fear nor disgust towards other species.
Adults need to learn from them regarding this aspect actually.
