RE: Fascinating Honey Bee with "Pollen Pellets" on Its Legs: Spring Musings

Yes, I know… not just the well known honey bees.
All are valuable for nature and us.

I love observing little creatures. I was observing a tiny little jumping spider today that came to visit in the kitchen. 😊😎

Sort:

Those jumping spiders are the cutest looking spiders though! I love them 🤗

Yes, just the cutest little creatures. I put it safely out. As we are moving out. Don’t want it to get stuck in here. 😉😎

Yes that is the best! Live will reward you for your kind gesture. There is a lovely quote or poem about a spider:

“She asks me to kill the spider.
Instead, I get the most
peaceful weapons I can find.
I take a cup and a napkin.
I catch the spider, put it outside
and allow it to walk away.
If I am ever caught in the wrong place
at the wrong time, just being alive
and not bothering anyone,
I hope I am greeted
with the same kind
of mercy.”

Thank you! Yes, I always think of that poem when I see a small spider. Or insect!

Have an awesome new week!

You are welcome, it soooo fits the little ones 😉🤓
Sorry for my late reply, we moved house today 🚛📦

Have a great week @fermentedphil 👋🏻☀️😁

No worries, my replies are also always late! I have so many things I am juggling at once! But rather late than never they would say.

How is the moving going/how did it go?
