Of course you are very familiar with this one insect, everyone in this world must be very familiar with this one animal. This happens because grasshoppers have the immune system that is able to adapt to everything so that they are everywhere, they are often present and continue to breed in any climate, but grasshoppers are unable to adapt to one of the continents in Antarctica.
In this area, it is very rare for every living thing to survive at air temperatures except for certain creatures that have a strong immune system to deal with extreme weather. This is because Antarctica is the coldest place on Earth with temperatures reaching -85 and -90 degrees Celsius in winter or 30 degrees higher in summer. Experts say that the center is cold and dry and experiences little rainfall which is very different from anywhere else in the world.
When saw this grasshopper perched on the veranda of home to be precise on one of my family's ornamental plants, with our good intentions not to disturb it, I did this because it looked so funny, especially when standing in the right location. I saw him standing proudly as if he were staring at me questioningly, especially when taken with a cellphone camera would definitely produce a good picture.
I have followed this intention, of course, it has become a habit for people today because when they see something that they are amazed at, so it will be immortalized on their smartphone and then uploaded to every social media.
Likewise with me, I will also do the same thing as other people then I upload it to our beloved blog, namely Hive.blog.
On an ongoing basis, I have had the opportunity to find various objects in the environment where I live many times. In our area there are many types of insects that come naturally without any effort from me, this is due to the influence of ornamental plants planted by each community in their yards or on their terraces. Sometimes they are planted in special flower pots and some are maintained by planting in empty land, so that with the many ornamental plants, automatically each type of insect will be present simultaneously to enjoy the food available in this area.
If yesterday I was visited by a group of dragonflies then today was visited by a thick yellow grasshopper if you noticed almost reddish. I see him very interested in his cute face, his look is very strange as if he has big teeth but unfortunately he is unable to speak to humans and again we are unable to grasp their language.
I ignored him alias did not expel him from my mother's houseplant even though some people say that its presence can damage him due to the bite of his sharp teeth. Most of the people who respond to them are plant destroyers whose presence can kill plants.
I do not deny this information because there is a lot of news that is spread both in certain media and in the writings of research results from experts. I think this information will happen if you see grasshoppers coming in large numbers, as in 2020 in several countries such as China, Africa, Indonesia and several other countries which have happened in the past few years.
Although this information is true in certain countries but will not happen in our area because we live in a coastal area or can be said to be close to the coast, this actually rarely applies because in our area there are no rice fields and plantations like most rural areas.
Even if they were here of course in a small capacity, this small amount would not consume all the ornamental plants in our area in such a short time.
The arrival of grasshoppers in our area is of course very rare, in general they are in every hybrid plant that grows on the beach or in belly orange plants. While this plant is also very rare in our region. So when people here find grasshoppers it will be one of the strange things and need not be feared unless they come in very large numbers.
Therefore, I ignore him being here, I let him eat some leaves that grow in a flower pot, when he feels full in consuming his food then he flies in another direction, but unfortunately he doesn't find anything because he flies so fast that fell into an arid beach without any trees he meant.
I saw him from a distance as he moved away from the houseplants and flew in an erratic direction, he should have flown in a direction that had a lot of food like greenery or other ornamental plants. But he flew in another direction precisely in a sandy and arid location with no trees growing in the area.
But let it be, because he has the right to determine his life, he understands better where to go next. Hopefully he gets what he wants. That's all and thank you very much. Hope you enjoy this story.
