One thing that is interesting about it is the location of its nest, rarely dominating the area or precisely on each leaf, if there is but very rarely, this tiger beetle often inhabits various sandy areas that serve as its habitat.
The tiger beetle, which has been presented in this post, is a common species in our region. When viewed from its behavior, it can be said that this beetle plays a very important role in an ecosystem, its existence is also important in an environment, although it is known as a general predator, because it often preys on other insects. They like insects that are often considered to interfere with plant growth, especially farmers. Any prey that is hunted will be annihilated with its strong and sharp jaws, the method is very cruel by splitting the victim's body.
Today, meeting him in a sandy field that has some plants and also ants, as well as several other flying insects located in the same location is certainly still in a natural ecosystem point.
When he met him, he had just finished exterminating one of the victims who were in the same area, it seemed he was resting in a recently successful outcome in this neighborhood.
It looks very manly on a large rock (according to his body comparison) and too small for a human size comparison. So it was very difficult to take a photo of it because it experienced some strange things in aiming it. After all, he is very sensitive when approached by a large figure (human body) such as a giant who is stalking an object in the field.
Even though he was very sensitive when he met a stranger, or when the detection signal, which had been received in real terms, so that he knew that my figure was considered a foreigner who was monitoring his direction, he also kept trying to avoid, even though he only moved left and right, his stomach seemed to be full of the food he just got this morning.
The target this time was quite successful, because he was able to approach him from close range or about 1 meter, could not choose a closer size, because he did not accept my presence here. He only allowed me to be with him about 1 meter away, if he was forced he would continue to move to another area or location that is safe from monitoring.
When I approached in an attempt to get a photo of him, it was as if he was saying "don't get too close" because we really don't trust anyone here. Here we live without law, here applies who is strong then they are the rulers.
I am very happy today, because this is the first time can get a photo of him, while my intention has always been to get close to him, has been around for a long time, but always fails, for the reasons described above. Nice to see it today, because it gets some clear and bright shots, although it's hard to calm her in a good pose, with a few different angles, so it's hard to get some pretty poses. However, this is what I am trying to do today.
