Hi everyone, I'm back again making a macro photo post of a pair of unique animals that I found after a few days I was busy, this photo I found on my home page. The horned beetle has a black and white color perched on a brown leaf.
I don't know their exact species, but they have tough bodies and are almost like rhinos. These animals eat soft leaves, but unfortunately I don't know how dangerous they are when we touch them, so I just dared to shoot them from a distance and I used a macro lens.
When I first saw it, I had a chance to smile seeing their clinging behavior, maybe for them this is the mating period for breeding, besides that these animals have several types and mixed colors. I myself really like photographing animals that look rare and unique, my macro photo business always relies on my cellphone plus a built-in macro lens, even though it looks not as good as other people's photos, I keep trying to show you the best.
Here are some photos of the horned beetle I managed to shoot in the bushes on my home page, I hope you will like my work. It is permissible to comment if there is an error or lack of information about this type of animal, I am very happy if someone who is more understanding wants to teach me to be even better. I think here (hive) we learn from each other to produce good posts.
You observed 'weevils' (family Curculionidae).
The genus should be Phyllobius.
According to your pictures the species could be Phyllobius pomaceus, but I am not sure as there are many rather similar Phyllobius species.
I guess also like that, I saw so many types and forms of them. thank you @jaki01 for providing input for me
