PHOTOGRAPHY | The Javanimetrus cyaneus

Hello all friends of the Fascinating Insects Community, may you always be healthy and happy...

This post is a scorpion that is not too big in size. I think it's about 10-15 centimeters long. When I found it, this scorpion was walking looking for moist soil for it to live in to avoid the heat of the afternoon sun.

Physically this scorpion is bluish black and slightly shiny. Has four pairs of us and a pair of barrettes in front of his head. Judging from the body, there are seven segments that make up the body apart from the head and tail.

From the existing literature, this scorpion is called the Asian Blue Forest Scorpion with the Latin name Javanimetrus cyaneus and belongs to the Scorpionidae family. Usually, these scorpions live under shady trees or under rocks Source.

Here are some pictures that I share with the community, hopefully it will be useful...

Thank you for your support...
