PHOTOGRAPHY | The Ladybird Beetle Couple

Hello all friends at the enchanting Insect, may you always be healthy and happy...

My post today is a pair of small beetles making love on a jackfruit leaf. I came across this beetle by accident while I was looking for an invention for goat feed. Coincidentally, this beetle also landed on the leaf I was looking for.

Physically, this beetle is relatively small with an orange color. Only a pair of jet black eyes. The size of each of these beetles ranges from 0.5 centimeters. The whole body looks like a semicircle and almost covers the entire leg.

From the existing literature, this type of beetle is called Ladybird with the Latin name Novius from the Noviini tribe of the Coccinellidae family and has more than 70 species Source.
