PHOTOGRAPHY | The Thomisidae Species

Hello all friends in the Fascinating Insects Community, may you always be healthy and happy...

My post this time is a spider that I saw when he was hanging and then perched on a piece of wood. I think this is the first time I've seen this type of spider around where I live. Of course I didn't want to miss the opportunity to capture some of the pictures.

Physically, this spider is white in color and has an almost round body. His black eyes contrasted the part of his head that was slightly protruding from his body. Has four pairs of legs. Two in the front tend to be more active, and two pairs in the back to support the body.

From the existing literature, this spider is closer to the crab spider which belongs to the Thomisidae family. It is believed, this type of spider consists of 170 genera and more than 2100 species worldwide Source.

Here are some pictures I share with this community, hopefully it will be useful...

Thank you for your support...

Best regard,
walking while studying @pieasant_
