A few monthes ago, I went to see my brother in south of France near Grenoble city. We went to a place with a lot of lavender plants. I saw here a lot of insects flying very quickly and all around the plants.
I took those pictures but it was very difficult to do it and to have something approximately good due to the moving rapidity of the insect !
This animal is the Hummingbird hawk moth and is part of the mothes species. The beating of their narrow wings is very fast, up to 85 beats per second!
I love this image. Took with burst mode.
Hope, I didn't do mistake on the name of the animal this time ;-)

Very nice flight pictures. This butterfly could be observed in our region in large numbers again this year.
Thank you very much for your contribution 🦋
