A few weeks ago, I installed in my garden a fishes and plants pond. To decorate, i setup some branches over the water. Some days after, while contemplating this pond, a dragonfly stopped on a branch.
Chance for me, I had also my camera near me.
This is how my little pond looks like :
After some research its name is the large red damselfly with the latin name as Pyrrhosoma nymphula. The family name is Coenagrionidae.
This insect lives mainly in all the Europe countries (central Europe).
