Longhorned Beetle

I found a Longhorned Beetle in the middle of the night in one of our plants called "Money Maker Plant". This long-horned beetle it's not an adult because it's quite small than the other long-horned beetle that I saw. Since the background is so dark I used portable LED lights to have some lights. This beetle called Asian Longhorned Beetle because it's originated in China but I never noticed even here in the Philippines it's has a long-horned beetle too.

Most of the color of the long-horned beetle is color glossy or waxy black with a color yellow-orange stripes from the head to the tail. The long-horned beetle has two long antennas and I count it it's divided into 7-8 segments. I also noticed the color of their eyes was changing from black to red and blue every time their eyes were spotted from the lights.

In my research, this beetle is a huge pest to the trees so that is the main reason why I always found the long-horned beetle inside of our home it's because they live in the trees. It has so many trees back of our home that's why every other day I encountered this kind of beetle the adult size of the long-horned beetle sometimes got me scared because it was so huge.
