Hola amigos de la comunidad de Fascinating Insects , el día de hoy les compartiré unas hermosas imágenes de la araña tigre que cuyo nombre científico es Scytodes globula y se puede avistar en en los llanos centrales de Venezuela.

Hello friends of the Fascinating Insects community, today I will share some beautiful images of the tiger spider whose scientific name is Scytodes globula and can be seen in the central plains of Venezuela.

Este imponente ejemplar mide unos cinco centímetros aproximadamente y cuenta con unos anillos de color amarillo y negro , en cuanto su espalda se puede apreciar que la mitad es de color blanco y la otra es como una especie de corona con color negro y amarillo en forma de puntos.

This imposing specimen measures about five centimeters approximately and has yellow and black rings, as far as its back you can see that half is white and the other is like a kind of crown with black and yellow color in the shape of points.

La forma de obtener esta araña su comida es atrapándola en su red de tela de araña , y las envuelven con la misma para inyectarle una especie de veneno. que las licua por dentro y así facilitarle su ingesta.

The way this spider obtains its food is by trapping it in its web of spider web, and wrapping it with it to inject a kind of poison. that liquefies them inside and thus facilitate their intake.

La araña tigre en condiciones optimas pueden vivir has 18 meses de edad y totalmente inofensivas con los humanos.

The tiger spider in optimal conditions can live up to 18 months of age and totally harmless with humans.
