In David's @hirohurl post on 29/04/2022 - He spoke about stops and starts and how it can be easy to drop off the bandwagon of writing a post for HIVE Every Single Day
We all know how beneficial it is , not only for ourselves , but also for the Hive community at large, to engage with people every day by writing a blog post and by responding to others
David decided to get back into the swing of things and write a blog post every day, Just One Thing, as a matter of engagement.

Well, me being me, just had to push the boundary one step further and suggest the idea of a Daily Prompt
'Five Minute Freewrite' prompts, giving people something to write about every dayThis 'prompt' inspiration came from @mariannewest with her brilliant
The Idea behind Just One Thing, is that a daily prompt will be given for people to write about.
You can either write about your daily activity or choose to use the Daily Prompt as a springboard to write about
There are boundaries, and those are
- It can be written or Visual
- If Written - You must write a minimum of 200 words with a Target of 400 words on the daily topic.
- If Visual it must be an image of your own making
- It can be non fiction or fiction.
- It must be original thought - No Plagiarism
- You must include the #justonething
- You must include a Topic Tag - justonething
- You can post into other communities as long as the topic tag is included
- The Topics will be randomly selected
- You must post a link to your writing in the comments below
- You can take as long as it takes to write your post, just write it Daily

Daily prompts are awesome. I signed up for one quite some time ago to help me focus my writing more on Hive. It really helped me have a better plan for my writing and to not have to work so hard to come up with topics. This is pretty awesome. I found it on Listnerds.
I am looking forward to seeing the prompts and whether I can write something or not.

Interested, but I am unsure if writing a piece on daily basis will fit into my current schedule.

Great concept and also very good community service. I am working on attempting to post on a daily basis and sometimes topics do not come to mind. When I am struggling for one, I will probably use your prompt. Thanks for establishing this. Take care.
