Man, life must be GREAT being a Chiefs fan! For the past five seasons, they've had the privilege of enjoying some fantastic football led by the best quarterback in the NFL in Patrick Mahomes. Heck, even prior to Mahomes, the Chiefs were winning a lot. The Chiefs have had a winning record every year since 2013 and only missed the playoffs once in that time.

But speaking of Mahomes, he really might be the most talented QB I've ever seen. The guy is sort of the perfect quarterback. I know football is a team sport, and harping on a team's QB is not exactly amazing in depth analysis on my part. But Mahomes is really that guy man. The quarterback position is the most important position and when your QB is a straight up weapon, that's a really special thing for a franchise.

I never thought a player could threaten Tom Brady's throne so quickly, but Mahomes is really on his way. He's got two rings and is only practically 28. That's kind of nuts.

The Chiefs did not have a ranked player on my receiver or running back top ranks. BUT if I had ranked tight ends, Chiefs' Travis Kelce would have easily been number one. George Kittle could have maybe given Kelce a run for his money, but I give the edge to Kelce. The Chiefs ALSO just might have the best coach in football to boot in Andy Reid.

The Chiefs are basically a well oiled machine at this point. They have talent everywhere. While their defense is not always dominant it's had it's moments and it's never been terrible, always at least average. Of course they have beastly Chris Jones up front.

Jones and Kelce are out tonight. But I expect them to be able to play the majority of their seasons.

I can't say enough about the Chiefs. They're annoyingly good but I got mad respect for them.

U gotta watch John Elway
He was way better. If he played in todays rules he’d break every record on book by week 13. The defense could beat those boys back then. Mahomes is good no doubt but he wouldn’t be too 3 in the eighties and nineties.

I'll have to do a deeper dive on Elway!

Yay! 🤗
