The Bengals are a team that I personally am not the biggest fan of. I am sure that it's got a little to do with the Titans losing to them several times now, but the Titans have lost to a lot of teams over the years, and something about the Bengals just irks me. I feel as though they aren't very humble. Of course they don't have to be humble, it's not a rule or anything. I also realize that having confidence is a good thing. But I just feel like they carry themselves as though they're some type of dynasty already. The Bengals are excellent and have won a lot of big games, but they need to do more than be excellent for two seasons before acting as if they've dominated for the past decade. I guess they are just trying to have a winning mindset or whatever, but even the Chiefs don't come off as arrogant as the Bengals. Even if it seems the Chiefs are arrogant here and there, they've at least won TWO Super Bowls in recent years.
Anyway, I just had to get that off my chest LOL. This is still a blog, I'm just stating how I feel. My personal feelings aside, the Bengals have obviously been a dominant force for the past two seasons.
The Bengals feel like a slightly more clutch version of the Bills, but the Bills sort of feel like a slightly more physically imposing squad. I prefer the more clutch team slightly and the Bengals did beat the Bills in the postseason recently, so all in all I think the Bengals are the proper #3 team.
The Bengals were AFC Champions two seasons ago and made it to the AFC Title game again last season. In my eyes they've got the second best QB in the league in Joe Burrow, the fourth best receiver in Ja'Marr Chase, AND the ninth best running back in the league in Joe Mixon! Not to mention they have top fifteen/top twenty receivers in Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd. Higgins in particular could have very well made my top ten, rankings are hard ok!! Their offense is really stacked.
Whatever my feelings are toward the Bengals, I still ranked them very high. Their results speak for themselves! I'm fairly confident they will win a Super Bowl in the Joe Burrow era.
