76ers got SMOKED by the Warriors Thursday... 😧| Look to bounce back in Brooklyn

Welp, the Sixers were getting hot, or so I thought. Hmmm. I don't want to be too harsh on them yet. Bouncing back after a tough opening to the season is much easier said than done. It's not going to be like a video game or a movie. There will be some bumps along the way.

That being said, Thursday's game against the Warriors was absolutely tragic. The Sixers looked lost in all phases of the game. Steph Curry accomplished something he has never done before. That sentence alone says A LOT because Steph Curry has accomplished A LOT in his storied career. Curry went 8/8 from three point range!! Nuts! This was Curry's first time finishing with a perfect percentage from downtown with that many shots. As much as it was annoying to watch Curry do this to the 76ers, I couldn't help but appreciate his greatness.

The NBA has never been the same since Curry established himself over the past like, twelve years LOL. A hot topic around the league is that Curry 'destroyed' the game because now everyone is shooting threes. I think it's a complex topic. I believe the league should bring back a little more physicality to the game. Or a lot more. Sometimes when I watch the game these days I wonder what I'm watching. Nobody is allowed to play defense! Also, I am not opposed to extending the three point line. I mean who cares really? It doesn't have to be a dramatic extension.

In addition I can't help but feel like the league is in a bit of an identity crisis in recent years. Everyone thinks they are Steph! I honestly think its silly but, players will learn the hard way. There are a lot of good shooters nowadays, but none of them are really Steph. Steph is actually special. Players need to be the best players they can be and not try to copy I feel but, that's just my opinion. In fact, I believe Jimmy Butler's success proves that. Everyone wants to shoot the three, meanwhile Jimmy Butler just plays tough defense, is physical, and is extremely willing and extremely comfortable scoring in the paint. He just balls.

I don't know. Maybe Jimmy can come back to the Sixers. I'd seriously love that.

But yeah. Hopefully the Sixers can just move on and focus on the task at hand. The Nets are absolutely beatable but, definitely not a team to overlook, especially with the Sixers struggling.

Let's see how this goes!
