Experienced a bit of burnout I would say the past few days. Not just from blogging, or whatnot, but just from life in general. My whole being needed to just cool off a bit. I also discovered online chess which has been an amazing experience!! Highly recommend.
The other night the Sixers were just seriously outmatched as a team. Giannis and Dame combined for 55 points for the Bucks, and overall without the team's main stars Joel Embiid and Paul George they could only hang around so long. The Bucks looked good too, I expect Dame and the Greek Freak to improve a lot in their second year together.
The Sixers tried their best for sure, this was a good early test for them I think. The Bucks are an established high level team, it was hopefully good for the younger Sixers or Sixers that need improvement in general, to get some minutes against a team like that.
It's still so surprising that veteran guard Kyle Lowry is a Sixer. Always liked his game and loved watching him on the Raptors for so many years. Lowry is older but Lowry was born and raised in Philly and went to Villanova. I know he is going to give it his all. If he won another ring but for the SIXERS, that would be really special for Lowry. He contributed well Wenesday with 13 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Also crazy to see veteran Drummond on the team. High quality player behind Embiid for sure.
Maxey played pretty well as usual scoring 25 although he didn't didn't shoot for a great percentage.
The Bucks game as a whole was alright enough, stinks they lost but not too shocking of result considering the circumstances.

Tonight's game I expect the Sixers to win since the Raptors are not a very good team to say the least only winning twenty-five games last year. Rebuild mode for the Raptors for sure. Crazy the Raptors randomly won their ring a few seasons ago with Kawhi Leonard. Nick Nurse coached that team! Let's hope Nurse can replicate that type of coaching in the City of Brotherly Love.
Game starts at 7 Philly time!
