It should come as no surprise that King Henry tops this list as the NFL's best running back.
Derrick Henry, at times, is a one man wrecking crew for the Tennessee Titans. There's not another running back in the league that is as valuable to a team, as Derrick is for the Titans. He's a unique talent in the league with his insane size and speed. He's essentially Myles Garrett at the running back position. Henry has made a career of tossing defensive backs with ease with monstrous stiff arms. Derrick has made numerous memorable highlights that will be played on NFL throwback footage for years to come.
Since 2018, Derrick has had four 1,000 rushing yard seasons including a historical 2,000 yard season in 2020. Derrick became the eighth running back EVER to reach that mark, and his 2,027 rushing yards put him 5th All-Time in NFL history for rushing yards in a single season.
Derrick nearly had five consecutive 1,000 yard seasons but his season was cut short due to an injury in 2021. Even though Henry only played in 8 games that season he still was close to 1,000 rushing yards as he finished with 937.
In 2022, Henry ran for 1,500+ rushing yards and also had a career highs in receptions with 33 and receiving yards with 398 yards, practically 400.
Henry is only 29 and I think he's proven himself to be special enough that the silly 30 year old running back rule will likely not apply to him.
Henry needs 1,665 yards to reach 10,000 career rushing yards.... That would be epic to see him do that this season!
