Well yesterday was a beautiful day in general. My son was over which was amazing. We watched baseball, football and he played Hogwarts Legacy. I mean can't get much better than that.

I was cooking for a bit and he was yelling out reports to me here and there on the game, but I did watch a lot of the game through all of it.

The Phillies scored an efficient five runs on seven hits yesterday. Six different Phillies recorded at least one hit, and every single batter reached base. Seriously awesome team baseball. Kody Clemens has been looking solid off the bench the past few games and he had two R.B.I.s off a massive double.

Ranger Suarez had a quality outing lasting five innings allowing zero runs. This was a good Marlins team to get back into a groove just like I mentioned yesterday, hopefully he can use this momentum now. He has had a handful of starts since coming back from injury and hopefully he's fully primed for October.

The Phillies all of a sudden are tied with the Dodgers for the best record in baseball and can potentially have the number one seed.

Zack Wheeler seeks his fourteenth win against the Marlins and to boost his Cy Young candidacy. He deserves to face a less dangerous club after being so elite this season. The Marlins are not a great team in 2024 but that #1 seed is still on the line so Wheeler needs to still pitch well. The Dodgers have a much more difficult task in facing the Guardians.

Baseball AND football on tonight. Amazing stuff.

GO PHILS
