The day before the opening of Pon XX Papua

The day before the opening of Pon XX Papua, DKI Jakarta continued to skyrocket with a number of medals obtained and firmly at the top of the medal standings. Pon XX Papua will be opened directly by the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo on October 2, 2021.

The first National Sports Week was held in September 1948 in the city of Solo. Initially the National Sports Week was once every 2 years and then it was decided to be once every 4 years. The XX Papua PON should have been held in October 2020, it was decided to postpone it until October 2021 because the Covid-19 pandemic hit the watermark.
