For the first time in 18 years FC BARCELONA are out of CHAMPION'S LEAGUE.
FCB will not move to ROUND OF 16 as they stood third in the group after BENFICA beat DYANMO KYIV.
BARCELONA along with BAYERN, BENFICA, DYANMO KYIV was in group E.
BAYERN WON all of their 6 games of group stage, where as BENFICA won 2 and FCB could only win 1 which was against DYANMO KYIV.
FCB will be now playing in EUROPA League. Some barca fans say that its a setback in the process, but i think its good to play EUROPA LEAGUE.
Many big clubs like Man United, Chlesea have also played EUROPA LEAGUE and won.
If we talk about the level of EL, its not that much high but as per the condition of BARCELONA, its better to play there and make that understanding between themselves. Its the process that matters and its the right time for the YOUNG BARCA players to play there and gain some experience and knowledge.
BARCA'S philosophy has always been of positional play i. e JOAN CRYUFF style of play.
