Things are going to seem pretty empty this weekend without college football on. Sure, we technically didn't have college football last weekend either, but we at least had the hype leading up to the national championship game. Now that that is over, things seem a little barren.
The good news is, college basketball is really heating up now, we saw a fair number of upsets in the top 25 over the last week, and we still have a couple of NFL football games on the schedule. I'll probably watch them, but I don't think I am going to be as invested in them as I would be if the Lions were still in the chase, for obvious reasons.
You should definitely check out my post yesterday if you want to get an idea of the basketball games you should keep an eye on Saturday. There are three marquise match ups that I think really need to be given some attention. It's been a while since I have bet on anything, so I might even try to place some wagers.
Maybe...
My niece has about seven more basketball games in her regular season before the make their way to the playoffs. It seems like pretty much every team makes it to at least the first round of the playoffs, so even though they haven't had the greatest season this year, I think they will at least make it that far.
They have a game tonight that I have a feeling we probably won't be able to watch. That has been the case pretty much all season and it is kind of disappointing. @mrsbozz and I had really started to enjoy being able to watch her play from four hours away.
The good news is, this is her last season, then we don't need to worry about it anymore. It kind of drives me crazy that we are paying for a service that doesn't work half the time. Sure, I could pay per game, but that just seems a bit excessive.
Not that she isn't worth it!
Are you planning on having any big AFC or NFC championship parties this coming weekend? Who are you cheering for on the NFL side of things? At this point, I am a bit partial to the Bills to be honest. Allen was my quarterback in my fantasy league and I think they have been working hard the past few years and they deserve a title.

I live a year in USA, I learned the basics of the sport and I could see the passion you feel for football. I felt the same when I can´t see soccer, jajaja. Greetings!
I'm obligated by blood to cheer for the Chiefs but if Buffalo beats them I've been a bit of a softy about them since the string of years from 1990 to 1993 where they almost, but never did, win a super bowl.
If Chiefs are eliminated then I will be ABP (anyone but Philly)
