Good choices! I'm a lifelong Newcastle fan that lives in the north-east so I'm extremely biased but I'd definitely agree that it is between us and Liverpool. Now that we've had our big takeover I think we'll gain a huge amount of international fans as results on the pitch and high-profile signings get back to where they were when I first started going to watch us as a kid in the 90's.

Yep watch all the younger generation grow up Newcastle fans now once you guys get going. I mean you guys are out of the relegation for the time being which is huge.
One thing I missed, which Georgies probably are laughing at now, is the demise of Sunderland and the Tyne-Wear derby. I'd have to say that it's my favourite English derby by far
Totally agree, it's amazing for the area! I have two young nephews that had started to wear Chelsea or Man City kits but they've given up on that since the takeover and recently went to their 2nd Newcastle game.
Yeah, the fan base is kind of split on that one, although there are definitely more fans that want to see them come back up now. For me, I used to hate watching the derby purely because the results tended to go against us in recent history.
Sunderland always found sixth gear when up against Newcastle. Shame they couldn't do it against anyone else 😂
