According to Reuters, legendary Portuguese Coach, José Mourinho, is accused of 'Racist statements'.
Feb 25 (Reuters) - Galatasaray have accused José Mourinho of making "racist statements" and said they will initiate criminal proceedings against the Fenerbahce manager over his comments following their 0-0 Super Lig draw on Monday.
While it was not clear which statements Galatasaray were referring to, Mourinho said the home side's bench had been "jumping like monkeys" and that the match would have been a disaster if a Turkish referee had been in charge.

As both clubs had requested a foreign official the task fell on Slavko Vincic from Slovenia.
On X, Galatasaray posted
Since the commencement of his managerial duties in Türkiye, Fenerbahçe manager José Mourinho has persistently issued derogatory statements directed towards the Turkish people. Today, his discourse has escalated beyond merely immoral comments into unequivocally inhumane rhetoric.
We hereby formally declare our intention to initiate criminal proceedings concerning the racist statements made by José Mourinho, and shall accordingly submit official complaints to UEFA and FIFA. Furthermore, we shall diligently observe the stance adopted by Fenerbahçe—an institution professing to uphold “exemplary moral values”—in response to the reprehensible conduct exhibited by their manager.
As per the statement made by José, mentioned at the beginning, that may be the cause of this reaction.
However, personally I don't see any sort of racism in that statement.
Everyone knows that monkeys do those wild jumps, which it, to me, seems like José is referring to.
I don't have any knowledge as to whether he has or hasn't issued derogatory statements directed towards the Turkish people, as Galatasaray suggest he has.
If this is indeed racism, then he shouldn't say things like that, I totally agree.
But I really can't see why anyone would see this as racism.
Opinions
Do you have an opinion about this?
Is it too much, or is the world just becoming such a place where no light-skinned person can say anything that can sound offending, even though the reference used is clearly not related to racism?
