Pretty boring European Matches yesterday but still slight profit on Thursday. I do notice myself going a bit in auto-mode when it comes down to betting which I need to be aware about. I do believe I have enough experience to handle it though and not get punished. Most likely I will continue to keep my stakes and the number of bets rather on the low side. Starting today with the first match of Week 14 between OHL and Oostende
OH Leuven vs Oostende
OHL is now without a loss in 6 matches taking 4 draws without any of their performances standing out. They took a good start against Anderlecht getting in a 0-2 lead with some good finishing on the counter but they fell back in the 2nd half. They continue to be a team that tends to have crazy high-scoring matches after the first goal even though their matches aren't always that wide open at the start. Overall they are on a positive streak and their team is complete. Oostende on the other hand lost their 2 latest league matches. They lost last week deserved to Mechelen who was better. The fact remains that they lost all their best players after a good 2020-2021 season but their overall mentality is still good and they are not a team that gives up. They tend to perform better on the road compared to home and have a high 2H goal ratio (65%+). They have some missings with strike Gueye being the most important one. This is likely one of the reasons why the line moved quite a bit from -0.25 to -0.75. The fact that Oostende far away from where they were last season aslo missing Gueye makes it hard to take a gamble on them even though they are the side I would take if my hand was forced tonight with the handicap. As much as I want to take some betting action in this match, nothing really has me at a point where I'm even willing to comit a small stake so I'm going to take the cautious approach and wait to bet a better view on things in-game. OHL so far is 1W-5L so far at home against the corner handicap (all against non-top-team and most during a bad period) . Oostende on the other hand only lost 1 corner matchup in the last 6 matches just by 1 corner. If OHL takes the lead I will likely get on on Oostende on the corners.
