I was pleased to see at least a little bit of profit on Saturday even though everything remains a massive challenge and I'm keeping the stakes to an absolute minimum because of it. Also on Sunday where 4 matches are played...

Genk vs Anderlecht

Genk clearly is in a dip at the moment as they totally lost the momentum with some players not reaching their best form. The tactics also are questionable as they played extremely passively against Club Brugge instead playing into their fatigue factor. So betting on Genk right now is taking a gamble that they will find their old form again which could certainly happen. Anderlecht hasn't really put complete performances on the pitch but their defense seems to be fairly secure while they are just deadly efficient. They do best against teams that attack while they can strike on the counter which might be the case today against Genk. Genk almost always gets 1+ xg against in their matches so I'm tempted by the Anderlecht Team Total over. I want to see how the match goes first before getting something in. No Pre-Game Bets

Standard vs AA Gent

Standard remains a team who simply doesn't have enough quality and relies on good defense to get results as they still have a hard time to score. They only took a draw in Beerschot as they tend to be better at home where they are 6W-1L-2P against their asian lines. I still mainly looking at situation where they are the favorite to oppose them which is not the case today. AA Gent played a mid-week match in Europe and totally fluked that losing 1-0 from Larne who so far had not taken in single point. They remain a team where performances simply have not been there as the team and the system isn't really matching. Their coach is under fire at the moment and it would be a gamble for them to all of a sudden play a great match especially with the fatigue. One of their problems at the moment is that they give too many chances away in each of their matches. So both are teams I'm not looking to back at the moment while Standard is an Under team by default but Gent simply gives too many chances away. No Pre-Game Bets

Union vs Club Brugge

Union seems to be fully back with lots of intensity while keeping thing secure in the back and they now also seem to have found the goal increasing their xg to 2.04 over the last 2 weeks. They managed to climb their way into the top 6 without a loss in a while and are coming of great home matches against Genk, Antwerp and Westerlo each time scoring 2+ goals. Club Brugge also is on a winning streak where they aren't always impressing 90 minutes long but they always get the job done winning deserved. They do play better at home and they lead the xg standings with 2.45x. Both teams however also are in the top 3 when it comes down to getting low xg against at 1.10 & 1.28 in the last 3 matches. I don't expect a match where both teams play passively and I'm really tempted by the over as I do expect goals. I took just 0.1 unit on Over 2.25 @ 1.811 with an eye to possibly increase my stake in-game. Club Brugge as the actual underdog is also tempting as in the end they remain the team with more overall quality and a better streak. So also there just 0.1 unit on Club Brugge +0 @ 2.000. I do expect Union to take the initiative so odds might go up a bit early on.

Cercle Brugge vs OHL

Cercle Brugge managed to end inside the top8 in the Conference league and they seem to be picking up their confidence even though now they are without Denkey who was a vital important goal scorer for them. They now have their eye on getting outside of the danger zone which they don't really belong into but it will be a challenge unless they are able to get in a good streak. Leuven is a direct opponent who are 5 points above them at the moment and they are in an unbeaten streak oftentimes ending theor match in a draw. They haven't really played that impressive after their coach change and they aren't really a team that I'm looking to back. My main issue today is the potential Cercle Fatigue which I don't want to underestimate. The odds one the +0 line are also just a little bit too short to take the risk. OHL also is one of the lowest teams in XG for and against and an overall average in their matches of just 2.14. I kind of anticipated this to change with their new coach but so far it hasn't happened yet. No Pre-Game Bets
