Anderlecht vs Antwerp
Anderlecht was pretty much the worst team of week 1 and from the looks of it, nothing has changed and things even got worse. While I do think they can perform a lot better and improve along the way especially if some more transfers are made, it is hard to see them out of nowhere put up a great performance with the pressure of right now. Antwerp took a deserved boring 1-0 win against Cercle and while they aren't playing that great, they remain very solid and just overall a better team compared to Anderlecht right now. Based on that I see them as the -0.25 favorite around 1.9-2.00 odds. This made me get in early on the 1.8+ DNB line before the asian bookies had their odds. As it turned out, those saw it differently with a +0.25 line on Antwerp which I also took. I split a full 1 unit flat stake between: 0.5 Units

Antwerp Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.400. By now, odds came down to -0.25 @ 2.05 on Antwerp which is close to where I viewed it. These situations and matches last season always turned out to be more difficult that anticipated so I'm expecting something similar. Mechelen vs AA Gent
Mechelen last week away against Club Brugge performed better than I expected and it remains to be seen if this is because they were ok or Brugge was just week. Right now I take it as a combination of both. I'm still not sold on the overall quality of this team but they in the previous years did continue to beat their handicaps at home. AA Gent is a dark horse for the championship and they managed to rest some players in he mid-week match which should not leave them fatigued. They have one of the strongest offensive lines in the league right now while they aren't without flaws defensively. Betting Gent and the over for me are the 2 only viable options but this also is a public bet meaning you need to take them early as the odds usually drop. This one again was the case today which just leaves me tempted to bet the 1.849 odds on the away win as this more feels like a 1.65 type away odds match which I always stay away from. I did manage to take early crypto bet of 0.0034 BTC on
Over 2.5 @ 1.870 and 0.0018 BTC on
AA Gent Team Total Over 1.5 @ 1.980. Aside from those, I'm leaving all options open for live bets.
Westerlo vs Club Brugge
Westerlo this season is a team with a lot of potential as they spent a ton of money on transfers. However, last week away against Eupen they did not put up a good performance getting 2 gift goals from Eupen goalkeeper Nurudeen. Club Brugge also has been very underwhelming both in week 1 of the league against Mechelen and in their qualifier match against Aarhus showing very little creativity. If it wasn't for Westerlo putting up a poor performance last week, I would have always taken a stab at opposing Club Brugge. So this match also for now I will stay away and see if anything good comes up live.
No Pre-Game Bets
Kortrijk vs Sint-Truiden
Kortrijk despite being seen by many as a relegation team showed that they are not without a chance even though they lost 3-1 to AA Gent. The question remains who will score the goals and if Kadri who is their best player will stay. Stvv surprised everyone with a much more forward style compared to last year which might bring opportunities as the total line still seems to be set more based on last season. However, their scoring ability is also limited and they needed a distance shot of Koita in minute 85' to get the deserved win against Standard. I expect this to be an offensive-minded match where both teams want to go for it with likely lack of quality in front of goal which keeps me from taking the gamble.
