I missed out on the start of the Club Brugge match yesterday as I didn't know it was played on an early timeframe. Only right at the end I was confident to take just 2 tiny bets which got screwed up by a late joke penalty given by the ref. So overall I consider that I'm back in a bad run now after last week so I will try to be extra cautious.
AA Gent vs Real Betis
AA Gent (80M) this season has not been a good team and lack overall quality. They are still inside the top 6 inBelgium and qualified for this round in Europe. Last match over the weekend against Mechelen was a perfect showcase of their season so far where they deserved to lose 3-1 but still somehow the managed to get lucky to end the match in a 3-3 score. Generally I'm looking to oppose them but it's not that the market is valuing them that wrongly. Today they play against Betis (184M) is currently 11th in the Spanis league and only finished with 1 point more than AA Gent in the League fase. I'm mainly leaning toward opposing AA Gent as if feels like not much changed and their luck can only last that long while the gap in player value is more than double for the visitors. I took a cautious 0.25 unit bet on
Real Betis 1H -0.25 @ 2.130 and I will see how the match goes before possibly adding more.
Fenerbahce vs Anderlecht
Anderlecht (108M) as a team has given off mixed feeling at times just playing very poorly while other times looking strong and capable of easily scoring goals. So it's a bit a question of what their form of the day will be and also the form withing the match itself. Fenerbahce (250M) has more than double the player value but they only narrowly made it into the top 24 while Anderlecht ended near the top. It is expected for Anderlecht to play with their best 11 and they have all players that were injured back while Fenerbahce seems to have quite some injuries all in the defensive end. Fenerbahce are 2nd in the league and they are in an unbeaten streak of 12 matches (9W-3D) especially being strong at home. I think Anderlecht can have an ok day and score today given their quality in the offense and the missings in the Fenerbahce Defense and I took just a tiny 0.1 unit initial bet on
Anderlecht +1 @ 1.952 which feels like it's set just a bit too high. I also will keep an eye out for the Anderlecht Team Total Over in Game
Union SG vs Ajax
The main issue which keeps me away from this match is the poor stats of the pitch which nearly caused the match to be played somewhere else. Union (72M) is in a good form and should be ok today once again putting in the needed effort and drive while Ajax (186M) might be more frustrated with the pitch and have difficulties with it. Ajax after having poor form last season now seems to be back on top of the Eredivisie standings and I feel it's fully because of the bad pitch that they are now the underdog today against Union. I don't think they would be unhappy with a draw to get the home advantage next week while Union probably would be fine to have a chance next week also coming there with a draw. The 3.4 odds on the draw however are just a bit on the low side and I'm staying away. If I was forced to bet I would still take Ajax as the underdog.
