Início Impressionante de Filipe Luís no Flamengo
Aos 38 anos, Filipe Luís despediu dos gramados, mas não de forma definitiva, pois praticamente todos já sabiam que ele iria encerrar sua carreira de jogador para iniciar uma nova jornada como treinador. O Flamengo foi bem gentil em dar a oportunidade para o FL será técnico do Sub-17 e depois de um início animador, subiu para comandar o time Sub-20 e graças a sua liderança, o time dos garotos conquistaram o Mundial Sub-20, um título inédito para aquela categoria.
Com a saída conturbada do técnico Tite, a diretoria não queria perder tempo em buscar um novo técnico de fora, pois os últimos retrospectos não estavam sendo favoráveis e também ano de eleição em 2024, eles precisavam dar uma resposta rápida e convincente. Foi então que Filipe Luís foi anunciado para comandar a equipe principal e assim seguir a reta final da temporada.
Faltando 4 jogos da Copa do Brasil e 10 rodadas do Brasileirão, o que vimos foi uma mudança significativa na postura dos atletas sob seu comando. Em menos de 6 meses no Flamengo principal, Filipe Luís conquistou a Copa do Brasil e talvez se tivesse mais rodadas para o Brasileirão, talvez o final seria diferente do que vimos o Botafogo conquistar o título do ano passado.
