People are taking notice of their own teams as well. People are now turning up to games in cities where the population previously didn't give a damn about the games. Caitlin does increase sales wherever she goes but attendance is up even when she isn't playing. All it took was a spark and Caitlin was that spark. I have noticed that the vitriol towards here has died down and the pundits have been shut up by her speaking with her stats. It's been quite incredible to watch and because of the shorter season I'm actually playing closer attention to WNBA season than I normally would the NBA season which is honestly, too long.
