I don't know anyone that does pay for it but seeing as how they normally will sell a million buys, someone is. That is just madness to me. $80 is the price for events as a standard these days. I remember a time when such a pricetag was far too much for people to consider attending a match or game... now we are expected to pay that much to watch it in our homes? That's crazy talk man.

$80 is madness and can remember when it all started out at $9.99.

They were always going to keep pushing that price up and up just like they do with tickets to live events. I have kind of stopped even looking at the cost of attending local professional events because I already know what the price is going to be...ridiculous is what it always ends up being. This overpricing simply punishes people for not doing piracy, which is what almost everyone I know does that watches these things at home. Me, I will go to a bar that pays extortionate prices to have the rights to air it.
