Dirk is fire! I use to love watching him with the super spinning step back rainbow shot off one foot! He could ball, he had a cool swag to his game, and he stayed loyal to his team and earned his championship the old fashioned way
Before playing basketball, Dirk played handball and tennis and even managed to get into the German junior tennis rankings but he quickly got tired of being called a "freak" due to his height.
I often notice that trait in sports stars, that they played various sports growing up, which helped them to improve different aspects of their game.

For me Dirk is one of the most fantastic and humble players to have played in the NBA.
