Juggernauts ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿฆˆ

El Derbi Madrileno took the stage for the 230th time, with Atletico Madrid looking for their second-consecutive win in this fixture after beating Real Madrid 1-0 at home last year, but both team forms suggested otherwise, and precisely that what happened was bound to be. Champions League performance aside, Diego Simeoneโ€™s squad had been in decent shape to start the campaign, winning two of their last three games, while Madrid was and still is a juggernaut.

Atletico Madrid made six changes to the XI that beat Celta Vigo 4-1 last weekend. Oblak returned from injury to drop Grbic back to the bench while Felipe was preferred to Hermoso at center-back. Koke and Llorente entered the midfield ahead of Lemar and Molina, respectively, while Griezmann and Felix took over for Correa and Morata in the attack for the first time in this campaign.

ATLETICO MADRID XI (3-5-2): Jan Oblak; Reinildo, Axel Witsel, Felipe; Yannick Carrasco, Koke, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Rodrigo De Paul, Marcos Llorente; Joao Felix, Antoine Griezmann.
SUBS: Angel Correa, Ivo Grbic, Mario Hermoso, Nahuel Molina, Matheus Cunha, Marco Moreno, Antonio Gomis, Alvaro Morata, Saul Niguez.

Real Madrid managed to cope without Karim Benzema perfectly well last week, dispatching Mallorca 4-1 before beating Leipzig in midweek European competition, but the test was made even greater today against their city counterparts. One point back of Barcelona after their win yesterday, Carlo Ancelottiโ€™s team could return to the summit with just a point, and they just did it with ease.

Real Madrid made four alterations to the side that beat Mallorca 4-1 last Sunday. Carvajal was right-back ahead of the injured Lucas Vazquez, while Militao got the nod instead of Rudiger at center-back. Modric came in for Ceballos in midfield, and the final swap saw Tchouameni come in for Hazard, pushing Valverde into the right wing.

REAL MADRID XI (4-3-3): Thibaut Courtois; Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy; Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni, Toni Kroos; Federico Valverde, Rodrygo, Vinicius Junior.
SUBS: Alvaro Odriozola, Eden Hazard, Andriy Lunin, Luis Lopez, Nacho, Eduardo Camavinga, Antonio Rudiger, Marco Asensio, Mariano, Jesus Vallejo, Dani Ceballos.

A fiery first half at the Civitas Metropolitano came to an end with the visitors ahead by two goals to nil, thanks to two goals 18 minutes apart from Rodrygo and Valverde. Ancelottiโ€™s side had managed the nerves better in a match of relatively few chances and fashioned a couple of gilt-edged chances, taking them both with aplomb. Outside of strikes from distance and set-pieces, the combination of Griezmann and Felix did not create enough, with Courtois barely tested in the opening 45 minutes. It looked as though Atletico Madrid wanted just to see out the first half and got into the dressing room for further instructions. It was a poor half from the hosts, with Simeone facing several decisions ahead of the resumption.

Down two goals at home to their most bitter rivals, Simeone had little choice but to instruct his side to push ahead at every opportunity in order to disrupt the orderly Real Madrid defense. Ancelottiโ€™s focus was on seeing out the result in as calm a manner as possible, reminding his players to control their temper and focus on the game as opposed to the rivalry.

Simeone overseeded his 22nd derby as Atletico Madrid manager against Real Madrid in LaLiga (W5 D8 L9) and equaled Luis Aragones (W5 D6 L11) as the Atlรฉtico coach with the most derbies against Los Blancos in the history of the competition, but that's not the way he wanted to finish it with utter disappointment and a red card. Hermoso is just lucky to net a goal in the 83rd minute. What he did is completely unacceptable. First, he wasted time taking on Carvajal instead of looking for a solution and made it easy for Madrid to see him red later on.

HIGHLIGHTS

Atletico Madrid will look to get back to winning ways on October 1 when they travel to face Sevilla. Real Madridโ€™s first match after the international break is at home against Osasuna.

Previously, Ancelotti lost four of his six meetings as a manager with Simeone in LaLiga (W1 D1). Only against Luciano Spalletti in Serie A (9 defeats from 20 games) has the Italian coach suffered more losses than against the Argentinian.

But today, Ancelotti equals Beenhakker with 89 wins in LaLiga while being the Juggernauts in every competition they stepped on.

What about this boy? Every penny was worth it!!!

Madridistas thought they had replaced Casemiro with him, but he isn't that. He is an Upgrade, and that's huge. This was his first real test against solid opposition, and he did shine with flying colors. What a player!! Why, believe me, just look at the numbers for this match.

What impresses me the most is that he has qualities of Casemiro and a bit of Modric and Kroos.

I don't even want to talk about Valverde. He is what he is. That's it. You can hate anyone but Valverde. It doesn't matter which club you support; as long as you love football, you have to love him. That's it.

I watch that epic match match last night. I enjoyed a lot.

Specially under Carlo Ancelotti Real Madrid looks great. Young players playing really well. Vini Jr is totally changed under him. Few months ago, people like to troll him. But, now? He is one of the best player of Real Madrid.

Also Valverde & Rodrigo playing well. Specially in last three matches they made the difference. Hope they can continue this...

Specially under Carlo Ancelotti Real Madrid looks great.

Madrid have their most incredible start ever after at least 50-60 years. Even the BBC era couldn't do that.

Madrid's future is in the safe hands. All the youngsters are incredible. Everyone thought Madrid would suffer without Benzema, but Madrid showed why they are the king of football.

Carlo has a significant role in improving Vini. He gave him so many tips on improving shots and decision-making. I hope Madrid can finally win Treble and Hexa.

Real Madrid is looking unstoppable, even Atletico can stop their unbeaten run I guess it's left to Barcelona now to put a stop to Real Madrid winning streak.

If Madrid can keep their streak running after the International break, I think Barca wouldn't be a problem because of the new energy in the midfield.

I am still trying to imagine how Barcelona fans must have felt yesterday seeing Real won.

I really can't wait to see the El Clasico.

I still remember when Barcelona fans hailed Ding Dong(De Jong) as more significant than Modric, let alone Valverde. Barca fans are Madridista's source of happiness. Their pain is our strength.

I really can't wait to see the El Clasico.

Same here, bro.

By the way, I am even waiting for the next porn of Bayern VS Barcelona.

mr-bean-waiting.gif

Well we have to wait and see in El Clasico, and again De Jong is way better than Valverde ๐Ÿ™‚

To be honest Braca and Media have a thing. Almost every player in Barcelona is bit overrated. I still remember about Delefou, Borja, Dinge, Malcom, puig, Garcia, Todibo, Dest. I can just go on and on.

De jong can't even make it to the Barcelona XI ๐ŸŒš

Just check valverde's last 5 match , wake me up when de jong can get this kind of run.

Wow, so you are keeping in touch with Barca players, all the players you mentioned are all mid the first three looked promising but lost touch but De Jong is not overrated and I will stick to that.

Bro I would say even Messi is overrated. Yes Messi is a 95 out of 100 but calling him 120 makes him overrated. This is what it is. Overrated doesn't mean bad. To put it in nice way they are overpraised.

Next porn you say?

That's so fucking hilarious ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

Lol... ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Real Madrid presented itself as a team that is difficult to beat, neither psychologically nor technically.

On point ๐ŸŽฏ. That's what makes Madrid the best.
