I know that there is more for the super falcons than what happened at their first game with the Jamaican at the BBVA stadium, Houston In the 4-nations tourney
The super falcon 0-1 lost to the Jamaican team for me was due to absence of players like Asisat Oshoala, Onome Ebi, Halimatu Ayinde, Osinachi Ohale and Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene due to injury and visa hitches. Though the game was also her first march ever with the Jamaican and the first leg on the 4-nation tourney.
You will agree with me that Starting the march with the likes of Oluwatosin Dimehin, Onyinyechi Zogg, Roosa Ariyo and Vivian Ikechukwu, who received their first international cap were not capable enough to do what was necessary to be done and to secure victory, believe me as soon as the likes of Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Halimatu Ayinde, Osinachi Ohale, Asisat Oshoala and, Onome Ebi are back on the game, there will be some huge change and believe me the falcons will daily return from marches with smiles and joy all around.
The Goal by Deneisha Blackwood in the 51st minute in the game was very strategic, though I expected a turn around but despite the little efforts of the players on the field it ended with 0-1.
Take a look at the Turkish Women’s cup invitational tournament, were the super falcons played the Equatorial Guinea. It was a one side march from start to finish and you understand what that means, they made it to a three wins in three marches thereby emerging the winner of the tournament.
In that march you can see the likes of Asisat Oshoala who led the charge with 4 goals and many other who also did grabbed a goal each.
