RE: 2021 Internationaux De France And What Makes Figur Skating So Enjoyable

Of those mentioned by you I only remember Evgeni Plushenko. God, seems like it was ages ago 😀

Most of them become coaches.

In 2006, Plushenko joined the political party A Just Russia, and in March 2007, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg. Following the 2010 Olympics, he announced his intention to quit politics. In April 2010, he gained public attention for poor attendance, having attended only 11 of 123 parliamentary sessions since his election. In December 2011, he announced he was leaving politics to train for the 2014 Olympics. He quit A Just Russia and said he had no plans to join another political party. source

I didn't know this but now that you mentioned him, I had the reason to see what he's doing. What was he thinking? Politics in Russia? Poor guy! 😀

From all the things he could have done, I wouldn't have said he would have chosen politics. I just can't see Plushenko doing that. Anyway, I would advise you to check out Stephane Lambiel's skates, he was the skater that other skaters loved to watch, he had such natural grace. His William Tell 2010 short program is one of my favorite ice skating performances.
