Spurs crushed by Crystal Palace

Three 1-0 wins in the first three Premier League matches were the reality for Tottenham before Saturday's local clash against one of the other London clubs, Crystal Palace. Newly appointed manager for the latter, Patrick Viera, still had the first victory of the season to good and therefore had to go out and chase three points at home today.

The Crystal Palace home side seemed more on fire from the referee's starting whistle than Tottenham. Already after a quarter of an hour, Eric Dier had to be replaced with injury, which meant a bit of unrest in the away team's defense.

Crystal Palace's tenant Conor Gallagher had several shooting opportunities in the first half, culminating in a 100 percent chance shortly before the break, which Hugo Lloris nicely saved on the line.

In the second half, Crystal Palace continued their pressure on a, today, weak Tottenham team that could not put many passes together. Shortly into the second half, a riot broke out between the two teams after a hard tackle on Wilfried Zaha by Spurs' Japhet Tanganga, after which both players received a warning.

However, Tanganga's yellow card was soon after exchanged for an expulsion, as the defender once again went too hard in a tackle and thus was sent early in the shower.

Not long after, Zaha scored unfailingly safely on a clear penalty kick committed by substitute Ben Davies.

With ten minutes left, Viera replaced the French debutant Odsonne Edouard, who immediately scored to 2-0 and in overtime even scored nicely to 3-0, which was the end result at Selhurst Park in London.

Crystal Palace convincingly got their first win this season while Tottenham can in no way be happy with today's efforts and instead can look forward to Thursday, with Rennes waiting in the Conference League.

Sort:

I couldn't believe that crystal palace won Tottenham Hotspur win 3 goals. This game is unpredictable

What happened in the game is that Tottenham have not have any good victory in any matches played but they having three 3-point doesn't mean their performance is okay no he should they should work on their team because one goal to nothing winning is not that your team is very okay cuz those people that you are playing with the opponent they strong or difficult for you to win you need to play very well game and dominate everywhere so that's what Crystal Palace used against them
