If this is true I am truely shocked. I was not expecting this in a sport like boxing but this is probably the best place to do it: if nobody expects it.

Yeah unfortunately it is true but finally their stranglehold on boxing seems to be over. Did you know the Irish boxer Katie Taylor has never had a professional boxing fight in Ireland yet over security concerns around an attack.
This sounds very concerning. Due you think Connor McGregor is also involved in something liek this? I know he is an UFC fighter but an Irish one :D

He got involved which is a post in itself but it was at the wrong side.
McGregor was in a bar in Dublin City and he had just launched his whiskey Proper 12. He was buying people in a bar his whiskey. Drunk as usual. When one old man politely said no thank you.
Conor being Conor took insult to this and attacked the old man.
Unfortunately for Conor the old man turned out to be the father of the Kinahan's chief assassin called Graham 'The Wig' Whelan who did not like the fact that the UFC star attacked his father so McGregor had to flee the country for a while until his family sorted out the problem paying the Kinahans reportedly 6 figures for the problem to go away. After this Mcgregors sister started seeing Graham the wig and visits him in jail regularly. The McGregor family pub was subject to a Molotov cocktail bomb attack recently and rumour has it , it is because of his sisters links to the Wig. Mad stuff.
A crazy world we live in. I feel like not even a Hollywood movie could make that up :O
