Former MVP benched by Colts
It doesn't even seem that long ago that Matt Ryan was lighting up the NFL, but times moves fast in this Leauge and even for legends like Matty ICE.
I still remember being a kid and watching him start his first game. He threw a TD pass on his first-ever pass attempt.
To be honest I get sad when I see legends get older and can't keep up with the young guys. It also brings upon the sobering reality that I too am aging, and that nothing is forever.
Matt was an Easy guy to root for, but I think father time has spoken. Things like this arent easy pills to swallow for Alphas, and I know retiring after getting benched is probably the last thing Matt wants to do. But it looks as if his time has come, and to be honest - he had a great run.
