Hello, my sports-loving friends. I’m Imantha from Sri Lanka. This is my first post to this “sports talk social” community. I am really into sports and my favourite sport is badminton. Today, I’m going to share one of my best memories of playing badminton with one of my best friends.
Last week, we both decided to play badminton in a nearby sports centre. We mean I and one of my best university friends Sihara. She had to come about 12kms by bus to where the badminton court is located. We booked the court for 1 hour from 1 pm to 2 pm. We both are really happy after playing.
She does not play badminton as I do regularly. So, I had to teach her some basic things and rules about badminton singles. Throughout that hour I taught her with my best effort. I think with practice she can do better in the future.
In that sports centre, there was a place to play foosball also. I have never played it before. So, we both played it some time and seems like it is also a nice sport to try in the future.
After playing badminton, we both were really hungry. So, we went to a nearby KFC restaurant to fill our stomachs. We ate chicken biryani there with Pepsi.
Spending time with our friends is really fun and I would love to do so. I hope you all like my post.

Thank you very much. I will try to follow community rules to the best of my knowledge.😇
Some of the users in this community provide a link to the source of the image and imagine that they are not in breach of the any rules or laws. It appears that the community rules allow that. Following the rules of the community does not mean you have complied with copyright laws. (Many community leaders are ignorant of copyright laws and allow breaches to occur rampantly).
You should have the license to freely use third party images before posting it. That means you should either use an image which is free to use (pixabay, pexels, unsplash, Wiki image etc) or you should have bought the license for the image. Of course, you can use your own image (for the convenience of the readers, please include a notation saying that the images are yours, under the image itself). You could say, for instance, "image by @username"
Many on this platform provide a link to the google image source or news blog or some other source. Google images are a mixture of free and not free images (which may be licensable or not-licensable). Most of the google images posted by users on this platform belong to the later category, which means they are in breach of the copyright laws.
If you want to search for free images on Google, look for images under Creative Commons Licenses (Tools>Usage Rights>Creative Commons Licenses).
Thanks for your explanation. I have updated my post by inserting captions for my own images. I will put sources when I post next time. I understood your idea about using copyright-free images. Thank you again for your great support.
Great. Here is a tip for you.
By including a subscript below your image saying, "image by @imagethadd96" you have put the whole world on notice that the copyright of the image belongs to you and nobody can use it commercially or non-commercially. Personally, I do not like doing that because I want my images to be shared by others and want them to give credit back to me by including a link back to the original source (i.e the article). See the magic of it? It gives you more eyeballs! And it increases the readership of Sportstalksocial at the same time.
As the owner of image, you can do that by granting to people licenses to use the image on your terms. The type of licenses you may grant is given in this page: creative commons licenses.
For the recommended way to give credit to someone refer to the second image in my article Diplomatic Boycott, Winter Olympics and Politics

Dear @imanthadd96, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got an important support from the community. However, it lost its funding few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,
