Ajay Al-Ahly's winning card in the Vita Club

Egypt's Al-Ahly enters a difficult test against its Congolese guest, Vita Club, in the third round of Group A of the African Champions League.

The difficulty of the confrontation comes that Al-Ahly is under great pressure, to compensate for its loss in the last round against Simba, Tanzania, with a goal without a response.

The defending champion also suffers from important absences, most notably Mahmoud "Kahraba", who was arrested for disciplinary reasons, along with Tunisian Ali Maaloul, and veteran star Walid Suleiman.

In light of these conditions that Al-Ahly is going through, the role of Nigerian Junior Ajay, "the talented attacking joker", shines in the front line, on which his coach Pitso Mosimane relies.

Striking brilliance

Nigerian Junior Ajay, 25, showed remarkable brilliance after his return from an injury he sustained in a tendon adjacent to Echilis, and kept him away for about 3 months.

Ajay appeared at the Brazilian Palmeiras meeting to determine the third and fourth places at the Club World Cup in Qatar as a substitute and performed well and scored a goal that was canceled.

Then Ajay starred in the Sudanese match Al-Merrikh in the first round of the group stage, and made a wonderful goal for his colleague Kahraba, and at that time he won the player of the tour award.

The Nigerian player also stole the limelight in Al-Ahly's victory over Al-Jaish (2-1) in the Egyptian Premier League, and scored the red team's double.
