Another boring fight

Maybe I'm getting tired of boxing and how unprofessional boxers are sometimes, who come to collect the money, without giving a show or doing absolutely nothing.

There's no need to say "you could do better". And it is true that this sport is dangerous and that you put your life at risk every time you get into the ring, I agree with that.

But I have to say what a boring fight Gennadyn Golovkin and Saul Alvarez had yesterday. The truth is I don't even know what I expected from these two boxers. Or I don't know what I expect from boxing in general.

Well the truth is that I expected much more from both boxers, but it seems that one has already taken its toll of age and the other lacked the professionalism to prepare properly for this fight.

A dull and boring fight, with no punch and no desire to expose themselves more than they should have. In the sport of fisticuffs; in this fight there were few accurate punches, few power punches contrary to what was shown in the two previous fights.

Canelo won in "the Trilogy" of fights although to tell the truth I would have preferred that they were not fought on this occasion and we would have been left with the taste of the last two fights, although despite everything and the scandal that could have been in one of them, it was better than this fight.

El Kazajo. GGG

What can be said about Golovkin? This is perhaps the last great fight of this great boxer. I think I always say it and it is true that the years do not forgive and the years have taken their toll on the Kazakh.

He is no longer the same as he was a few years ago, even the punch that was so feared, it seems that he has been losing it. He looked slow and sometimes lacked strength. His punches didn't do any damage to Canelo's humanity.

It was the Kazakh who made the fight so boring this time, because he came out not to lose and maybe not to be knocked out by the Mexican who is younger than him, apparently Golovkin was afraid of Alvarez and his punch. The audience did not hold back and booed this boring fight.

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez

The fight had a clear dominator, the scales were tipped on one side, that side was for the Mexican.

That despite everything that can be said about him was the one who filled with desire to box. Well I am being kind to him because at least he put something to make a fight. But the truth is that boring is too little for that fight.

It was Saul who needed the victory the most, because after a surprising defeat he needed to send a blow of authority and show that he is still valid.

The title of "best pound for pound" I think it does not belong to the Mexican, no matter how much the press tries to inflate it and give all the promotion to Canelo. The Mexican is far from the level he showed a few years ago.

Canelo lacked ideas, resources to put the Kazakh to sleep, he even lacked the punching power because the Mexican lacks a great technique. The hook to the liver that Canelo has so educated, I rarely saw him throw it against Golovkin, who ran around the ring the whole fight.

I have said it in other times boxing is a sport in decline because it has lost the brightness and veracity of before. So many people and clowns (understand the reference) are allowed to get in and make a circus in the ring. The fights seem to be decided beforehand and the boxers just go up there to fulfill the contract, collect money and leave with mountains of money in their pockets.

If there is still something good in boxing are the small weight fighters and that curiously do not draw much attention, but are those who provide real boxing fights, for example Naoya Inoue, who is a real Japanese monster, and for whom it is worth paying to see and not these mock boxers..

Otra pelea aburrida

I agree 100%. The big money fights are usually the most disappointing too.

Yes I was spectating a big fight and maybe a KO, but was a boring fight

Thank you very much for the support, I know I should be more active, but sometimes the community is full of posts about the same topic or about the same Soccer match and although I love soccer sometimes it's boring to read so many soccer posts or on the contrary sometimes there are posts about F1 or some topic I don't handle. But I should be more active. How always thanks💪
