Arsenal are back in the hunt for a top 4 even though they are another team you really can't predict. They have 3 games at hand as they sit pretty in 4th position on the table. They got their job done against Watford and it's the kind of needed motivation they need as the season is gradually coming to an end. IF they managed to win their two games, they would be vying for the top 4 together with Tottenham IF they turn up with their outstanding games as well. Yes, I am ruling out Manchester United and West Ham out of the top 4 race. It's now a two-horse race at the top of the table.
Watford are still battling relegation and Dennis thought he had given Watford the lead inside 25 seconds with a cool and composed finish but his effort was ruled out for offside. Arsenal knew they had to act quickly and they did. It was a brilliant and known Arsenal move that involved a one-two between Saka and Odegaard before Saka finally found Odegaard at the edge of the box and Odegaard did brilliantly well to slot the ball into the back of the net in the 5th minute.
Watford knew they had to fight and they came close with a freekick from Cucho Hernandez which was saved by Ramsdale but the effort after was something the goalkeeper could not save after Cucho Hernandez was found inside the box and his scissors kick was buried neatly at the back of the net to give Watford the equalizer.
They said motivation doesn't last often, just like bathing and that's why it's recommended from time to time. Arsenal dented Watford's motivation in the 30th minute after Tom Cleverly was robbed off the ball and Lacazette's lovely touch-lay off for Saka was important as Saka blasted the ball into the back of the net.
Lacazette is proving to be the leader Arsenal needs even though he is used to wasting too many chances but his involvement in gameplay cannot be faulted as he provided the same pattern he did with Saka also with Martinelli and he also rifled his shot into the back of the net to give Arsenal a 2-goal cushion with 3-1.
It proved to be a nervy ending for Arsenal we Sissoko scored in the 87th minute after he was picked out by a long pass which he did brilliantly well to control and lose his marker before slotting into the back of the net.
Roy Hodgson has been unable to save this side and he might not be able to but they are showing that fighting chance even though it might be hard, especially with how others ahead of them are picking up points.
Realistically, I would say Arsenal are back in the hunt for the top 4... On paper and it's a good position to be in considering how many teams are vying for that same spot. There is no certainty that they would win their 3 games at hand but at least, they would still be ahead of Manchester United and West Ham. A lot would depend on Tottenham tonight when they take on Everton. If they manage to win, they would be 3 points behind Arsenal with 2 games at hand and Arsenal would be 3 games at hand, which made me say that Tottenham and Arsenal are the ones vying for that top 4 spot.
It's the Premier League and nothing is ever cast in stones because a lot can change at any given time. We would have to wait and see...
Thank you for your time.

It's a very good time to be an Arsenal fan and just like you said, Arsenal have proven to be unreliable in recent years. Nonetheless, I think there's a different feeling about them this year.
While we may feel it's a two horse race between them and Tottenham, I think it's not over yet for Manchester United (no sarcasm intended). We all saw how we thought Manchester City could run away with the title and now they're just six points ahead of Liverpool having played a game more. It takes just two to three games for the dynamics to change. United even at their worst can still grind out some results; remember they say class is permanent while form is not.
If with five matches left and things are exactly like this or more in favour of Arsenal, then I can totally believe United are out of it.
I totally understand you. I've just been disappointed over this United side for too long. They always miss the chance to move up or close up gaps and it has been the theme over the years. You are right... It only takes one or two convincing wins for the dynamics to change and I hope for their sake, it is true.
The Gunners are resurgent and are committed and playing for each other. There is confidence there again, which is essential ingredient for success. Spurs are the main danger, but I wouldn't fully rule out United yet either. Also I wouldn't rule out Chelsea finishing fourth and Arsenal or Spurs sneaking up to 3rd. There are still plenty of points to play for.
🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂 let Chelsea fans catch you hahaha. I understand your point though and United has been terrible. I hope they show a fight as the season is coming to a close already.
Yes, United have been a bit all over the place and don't really have momentum, I think Arsenal are the team with the momentum now, but that could easily come to a shudderting halt with upcoming games against Leicester where Mr. Vardy loves banging in the goals against us and Liverpool who almost always beat us in the league for the past good few years. 3 or 4 points from those two games would be acceptable. Hopefully we can keep the run going against Leicester and then any point we can get against Liverpool is a bonus.
I totally agree with this.
We still have some tough postponed games ahead! But looks like we're the closest. The trick is that we also see the others drop points.
Yes. The advantage is in Arsenal's favour.
Possibility is there for sure and Tottenham will be close leaving United and West Ham fighting for 6th and 7th if they are lucky and no one has a good run at the end. I think that would be a fair reflection of the season so far.
Perfect reflection of their season I have to admit. That's right, sir. The balance tilts more for Arsenal and Tottenham. Did you see how Everton got thrashed tonight sir? 🤣🤣😂. Poor Lampard.
Arsenal has really proven a lot of people wrong, they started very woefully these season, which made many arsenal fans call for the sacking of the coach, but they seem to have find the missing piece to the puzzle cuz they look like a whole new different team, they really deserve to be in the top four, but as for man utd I pray we come back stronger.
That's true..it seems like yesterday when they were calling for the head of Arteta but he has turned the team around and it's impressive. As for Manchester United, we are in God's hands o. That team is terrible. 🤣😂
No, I am not ruling out Manchester United in the top 4 race. They still have a chance.
As bad as they may appear, they'll finish the league ahead of Arsenal.
On the other hand, would you prefer Arsenal over Manchester United when speaking of representation in the Champions League?
That not withstanding, I'm still mad at Manchester United for such a poor derby match.
Of course, I wouldn't want Arsenal to finish above us but trust me, this team would still embarrass us if they qualify for that Champions League...
You never can tell.
Hahahaha we would have to wait and see then...
Yeah.
Arsenal’s are doing great and I love to see them in Europe next season
Hopefully they can get over the line and stay in 4th till the end of the season.

Thank you, Posh.
Maybe we will go back to see Arsenal in the Champions League next season after we thought it would take longer.
Absolutely...with the others failing, they have a good shot at it.
With leftover matches of Arsenal which involves teams like Liverpool and Chelsea. There is no way gunners will be in last four.
🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
