San Marino, the miniature country from the centre of Italy could possibly get to the World Cup of 2026.

A dwarf state at the World Cup, how is that possible? Because of very strange rules by the FIFA and a broadening of the teams at the World Cup. 48 countries in stead of 32.

San Marino managed to win their Nations League group, by a win against Liechtenstein and promote to a higher tier. This makes them eligible for qualification for the World Cup. And it could even be a reality in only 2 games…

It doesn’t get weirder than this…
