Nope buddy the rules have been changed. This days it’s quite difficult to catch up with the rules because they seem to update it every season.
As soon as the ref gives a penalty for an offence by a player that player is automatically sent off. And I think that happened in this match. If the red card wouldn’t have come at all then the penalty shouldn’t have been given.
We can say it shouldn’t have been a red if the player was fouled outside the box but anyways it’s still a red.
No this rule still exist, I checked before I write, it's suppose to yellow card and penalty
Ok buddy you have a point there. But this makes me to remember that Osasuna player offence; the match in which Benzema played the penalty away.
It was a similar offence, a the defender shoved Benzema at the back and then he was sent off and benzema awarded a penalty.
I don't believe this, that shouldn't be a red card offence.
Sometimes we can argue because we don't like that rule. But just as the VAR has inconsistencies, it is same as the refs. Some refs won't give a straight red but from the new rules it's a straight red, they go hand in hand.
Okay
If you say so.
