There can be 30 people selecting Liverpool for the first round for example. If Liverpool win then those 30 people are through. You have to pick another team to win next week but you can't pick Liverpool again so the 30 people have to select a different team and so on and so forth until we have a last man standing.

Yeah it happens alot at the start when a big team draws with a minnow. Take Liverpool this year for example. I think 14 people got wiped out in one go.
