A few days ago, I began writing an article in which I talked about the World Cup in Qatar that had just ended and what I considered to be its most memorable moments. I emphasized Croatia defeating Brazil, Cristiano Ronaldo's header that did not touch his head, Saudi Arabia defeating Argentina, the goal-line issue, Japan fans cleaning stadiums, and Croatia's victory. Please leave a comment below letting me know who you believe was the biggest player to miss the World Cup 2022.
The most notable moments from the just finished World Cup are summarized in the section below.
BRAZIL LOST TO CAMEROON
Brazil decided not to field their best player for the first half because they had already qualified for the round of 16 after defeating Serbia and Switzerland, and Cameroon had a slim chance of moving on. However, their less-than-best team still outperformed other teams' best teams thanks to players like Gabriel Jesus, Martinelli, Anthony, and others. Despite Brazil's dominance, Vincent Aboubakar scored the game's lone goal in the 91st minute and was ultimately sent off for receiving a second yellow card for his celebration. His joy at scoring made him even happier about getting sent off.The fact that most people had never seen Cameroon win the game and that history had been made by Cameroon becoming the first African side to overcome Brazil at the senior level made this event unique. This will undoubtedly be a moment that Africans, particularly those from Cameroon, will never forget.

HAT-TRICK BY GANCALO RAMOS AGAINST SWITZERLAND
The starting lineup for Portugal's match against Switzerland featured a startling substitution: Gancalo Ramos took the place of Cristiano Ronaldo. Many people were unfamiliar with Gancalo, and there was some backlash when he was named to the starting lineup. Gancalo eventually silenced his critics by scoring a hat-trick. This was so incredible because it was Gancalo first start and he scored the first hat-trick of the competition ( Mbappe was the favorite to score the first hat-trick of the tournament)

ARGENTINA VS. NETHERLANDS LAST-MINUTE FREE-KICK
Argentina was leading by two goals to nil against the Netherlands, all thanks to goals from Molina and Messi, but it was eventually tied by a brace from W. Weghorst, all of which were scored in the dying minutes of the game. This match was similar to the World Cup final in that Argentina also threw away a two goal lead. But there was one noteworthy event, which was Weghorst's second goal in stoppage time. Netherlands won a free-kick very close to the box in the dying seconds, but instead of taking the free kick with the intention of scoring directly, he instead played a wonderful pass below the wall to Weghorst, who then equalized in the dying seconds. Many teams will be interested in trying this novel free kick method. I have never seen something like this at such a decisive moment before.

WORLD CUP FINAL HAT-TRICK BY KYLIAN MBAPPE
Many people believed that Argentina had already won the match against France in the first half when they were trailing by two goals to nil. Some Argentina fans even began to celebrate before the game had even ended. However, Mbappe came to the rescue by tying the score within a minute, making it two goals to two. However, Argentina eventually added another goal to take the lead, but once again Mbappe delivered by tying the score, and the game was decided on penalties. The 25-year-old Mbappe's hat-trick in the World Cup final is so remarkable and won't soon be forgotten.

LIONEL MESSI SCORES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD CUP
We all recognize Messi as a positive history maker and record breaker, but the fact that he is still doing this at age 35 distinguishes him as someone extraordinary. Once more making history, he scored in the group stage, round of 16, quarterfinal, semifinal, and final of the World Cup, being the first player to do so.

Kylian Mbappé was magnificent against Argentina but luck just wasn't on France side, he definitely deserved the man of the match award in my opinion 🙂.
I think Mbappe lost the man of the match award because his team lost. Hadn’t been there wasn’t Extra time, he would have won the award. Thanks for reading and you respond.

The 2022 world cup in Qatar was the best I have ever seen in football since I began watching the sport in 2005, it will forever go down as one of the greatest tournaments in football history.
